Married Life Live…

Saturday May 17th,  Lifesong is planning a trip to Married Life Live.  The plan is to leave Griffin at 4PM to grab an early dinner and then head upto Buckhead for the event.  Several of you have signed up to go, but there is still plenty of room!  We need to have you registration fee ($12 per person) NO LATER than next Wednesday (preferably Sunday).  Make the investment in your marriage and sign up today!  You can send an email to mark@lifesonglive.com or leave a comment to this post.

“I love this church…”

Today as Lindsay (our 8 year old) and I were in the car headed to help get “Appreciation Bags” put together to give to several local health care professionals for Nurses Day (which is tomorrow) she said something that made me proud.  Lindsay asked why we were doing this and I explained it was to give to nurses to say thank you for their service.  She asked if any of then went to Lifesong and I said I didnt think so she replied, “I love this church!  Lifesong helps people we don’t even know and I get to be a part!”

Hey Lifesong, you are making a difference in peoples lives showing what the Church can be and YOU get to be a part! 

Sunday night thoughts…

• Really enjoyed the service today… thats an odd thing for a pastor to say on a day the day I preached on tithing but I really believe that this is something that the church doesn’t talk about enough.  Your Bling and what you do with it is a heart thing and reveals where your priorities are.
• For those who are interested, we introduced the 90 day tithe challenge.  If you will but God first and TEST Him with the first ten percent of your income and He doesn’t make good on His word we will give you your money back.  Send an email to mark@lifesonglive.com to sign up.
• We were off in overall attendance today and the children’s department was still booming… very cool!
• We just finished shooting all of the video for our next series – “The Games of Life.”  I am really looking forward to starting this next week.
• Mothers day os going to be awesome.  We have a professional photographer coming in and Lifesong will be giving away family portraits for everyone.  We also have some other surprises lined up so you don’t want to miss it!
• Had a awesome time hanging out with some of the great team (and the cast of the Games of Life video’s 😉 ) that make up Lifesong church tonight grilling hamburgers and laughing alot.  I really love the people that God has assembled to bring the Song to life.
