Sunday night thoughts…

• I missed not having services today… but it was great to give our awesome volunteers a break.
• I know the Roadies didn’t mind missing today… it was raining HARD this morning.
• The family and I went to my buddy Chuck Lewis’ church The Anchor today… haven’t been to their services in over a year, they have come a LONG way!  God is doing some awesome things in Locust Grove. 
• They are a couple of years older than us and it really FIRED me up to be there and maybe get a glimpse of Lifesong’s future… Very cool!
• With that said… I really MISSED Lifesong!
• Really excited about our new series coming up!  Are you ready to get NAKED?
• We have extended the Love Revolution offering through next Sunday… if you haven’t given here is your chance.
• I turned 36 last week… not sure how I feel about that…
• Enjoyed the break from blogging over this last week… time to get back to it
• Got some changes coming to Lifesong in January!  Really excited about this next year!
• I’m out… gonna go play some Wii with the girls…

Sunday night thoughts…

• OK, I know I sound like a broken record… but today was AWESOME!
• I really didn’t know what to expect today.  We have so many young families that travel out of town to be with family for Christmas that I thought we would be down… ummm, we saw a 170% INCREASE from last year.
• Several first time and second time guests today… VERY COOL!
• Spoke on Revolutionary Love today… who are YOU serving?  Check out the podcast HERE.
• The band made Christmas music COOL (that is hard to do)… “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” freakin’ ROCKED and we even had a mandolin show up today!  Great job!
• You guys have stepped up BIG for our Revolutionary Love gift offering… over $6400 has been given as of today!  We are going to extend it through January 4th  because several of you have asked us to so that you could participate.  You guys rock!
• The lobby was COVERED in Christmas presents!  Lifesong church went over the top in generosity to provide presents to SIX needy families today!  You made an IMPACT in someones LIFE today… AWESOME!
• Don’t forget, NO SERVICES next Sunday… giving our awesome volunteers a break! 
• Sitting here this afternoon thinking about this last year and all that God has done… I am overwhelmed!
• I am also JACKED up at what God is going to do in 2009!  Seriously, you aint’ seen NOTHING yet!

Sunday night thoughts…

• Holy cow… unbelievable day!
• Two people gave their life to Christ today!  Lifesong church… YOU are making a IMPACT in eternity!
• The band was freakin’ unreal today… seriously!  Their cover of Love Revolution was BETTER than Lenny’s!
• There were some TENSE moments during the message today… God was all over that theater today.
• Jason did an INCREDIBLE job with the video telling of an amazing story of Revolutionary Forgiveness from our church… we will try to get that posted if you missed it. 
• I rode to the theater today for the FIRST TIME with my family since we started Lifesong… VERY COOL!
• Just got on from our Leadership Team Christmas party… love the team that I work with and it was great to give back a little to them. 
• I am proud of you for your giving to the Love Revolution special offering… we are almost HALFWAY to the goal of $10, 000!  Next Sunday is the last day to give, lets do all we can to let God use us to reach this Goal.

Friday five…

Things I am excited about…

1. Some exciting news coming in January for Lifesong church.  This is something that will really position Lifesong to go to the next level!
2. This weekend!  Seriously, DO NOT miss this service… make sure to bring someone with you.
3. What God is going to do THROUGH YOU during our Revolutionary Love special offering.
4. I am taking the Senior Leadership Team out for a Christmas Dinner this Sunday… got a little surprise for them!  I get the chance to work with the GREATEST team ever and want to show them how much they are appreciated.
5. 2009… The Love Revolution is going to take over this town!  Are you ready?

Sunday night thoughts…

• Awesome day… Great start to the LOVE REVOLUTION.
• I preached on generosity and one person gave there life to Christ!  That is a GOD THING!
• I really believe that this is going to be a POWERFUL series.
• We had the LARGEST single offering in the HISTORY of Lifesong today… and we kicked off our Love Revolution offering with a bang $1700 was given towards the goal of $10, ooo!  I am proud of Lifesong church.
• There were 75 tags on the blessing tree when we started and only 12 left as of today!  Awesome job!  YOU are making an IMPACT this Christmas!  Lets try to get the presents back by next Sunday if possible.
• Had alot of fun preaching today… I even committed a CRIME to prove a point.  Checkout the PODCAST here. 
• Seems that me tucking in my shirt caused some discussion today… even more than when I wore a suit.  Don’t know why, but that’s funny to me.
• Cant wait to here how you used the $10 Love Revolution gift to make an impact this week… remember, you cant give it back to the church and you must use it to personally bless someone. 
• Emma (my three year old) was asked the question today in Wee Wonders, what is the greatest gift of all time (they are learning about the birth of Jesus) and she responded, “BROWNIES!”  That’s my girl 😉
• Finished getting all the Christmas decorations up… next year, I am becoming Jewish! 
• Be a part of the REVOLUTION… INVITE someone to church this Sunday!  Trust me, you do NOT want to miss it.
