- Decent day today… had a strange vibe all morning. “Dreary” is the best way to describe it, kinda like the weather.
- Good to have the Lifesong band back leading worship… hope you guys enjoyed the break.
- Some days I teach, others I preach… today I PREACHED. Talked about Stupid Christians being hypocritical in the message. Some highlights:
- There is a big difference between being a hypocrite and being a sinner. There is an unspoken assumption that a Christian is someone who doesnt sin… the BIBLE is pretty clear that thats not the case.
- Matthew 23 is pretty much a class on Hypocrisy 101… I dont think Jesus was impressed.
- A Hypocrite is more concerned with what other PEOPLE think that what GOD thinks about them.
- We need to implement the important and focus on the internal.
- It’s easy to focus on religious routines and forget to cultivate our relationship with Christ.
