sunday night thoughts…

• Finished up STORY today… really enjoyed this series.  I pray that it made an impact.
• Had a good morning yesterday at Beaverbrook with there Spring Sprint… much thanks to everyone for all the water.
• The kids were on Spring Break last week… went camping and enjoyed some family time.  Really needed the break.
• We had Bryan Bulmer, the youth leader from Fletcher Memorial with us today.  He is bringing his youth group up this Summer for a missions trip…  really nice guy.
• The band rocked some new songs this morning… Rain Down is one of my new favorites.  Proud of Chris (rocker guitar guy) for toughing it out this morning with a messed up knee.
• I felt off today… I pray that the Message got through.
• Can’t wait to kick off The Vow next Sunday… go ahead and invite someone to come with you.  It will be worth it 🙂

sunday night thoughts…

• Good day today… LOTS of peeps out because of Spring Break but we had a good crowd.
• Very proud of the volunteers, we were WAY short in that area but you guys got it done!  Thank you!
• Much thanks to Nathan for filling in on guitar today.  Really added an old school/blues vibe to the music today.
• Heard about a conversation that Josh (Director of Volunteers) had today with a theater employee that highlights WHY we are here… VERY COOL!
• REALLY low offering today… you gotta take the good with the bad.
• Thanks for all the water for our Beaverbrook event.  Keep it coming.  We also need volunteers to work the event on May 1st.  If you can help, send josh@lifesonglive.com an email
• Enjoyed a couple of days in Jekyll Island this past week playing golf.  Golf was bad, but I really needed the break.
• About to head out and meet up with the youths on scavenger hunt for dinner.

sunday night thoughts…

• Week two of Story.  Taught on the story of Zacchaeus… should have the podcast up soon (I hope 😉 )
• Crowd was down… ALWAYS happens the week after Easter, but it doesn’t help that we have Spring breaks hitting over the next month.
• Love reading the comments from guests about their visit to Lifesong… YOU are making a difference!
• So proud of our volunteers… we had some “holes” today and several of you stepped up BIG!  THANK YOU for doing whatever it takes to reach this generation with the Message of Christ.
• Weather good… pollen not so much.
• Don’t forget to bring cases of water for our IMPACT event with Beaverbrook.  We have a couple of weeks to get a LOT of water!
• Looking forward to a golf trip this week… going to spend a couple of days in Jekyll Island with some good friends.

sunday night thoughts…

• Incredible day!
• Great crowd… Great service… and ONE person gave their life to Christ!  What a way to celebrate Easter.
• Really proud of those who INVITED people to come with you today.
• Kicked off our new series”Story” today.  I believe that this could be the MOST powerful teaching series that we have ever done.
• Much props to the production team… they had a lot on their plate today and they pulled it out perfectly.
• The band led a POWERFUL time in worship.
• Proud of those who participated in the fast this last week… I pray that God SPOKE LOUDLY!
• Several folks signed up for NEXT Step today.  Partnership class is next Sunday at 5 pm… send an email to mark@lifesonglive.com to register.
• Eric did an awesome job on the roll in… seriously!
• I love what I get to do… I love Lifesong church… and can’t wait to see what is next!

saturday prayer point…

Pray for guests to join us tomorrow.  Pray for God to send the disconnected and discouraged… the one that has given up… the broken… the one who only thinks of Easter as a good story.  Beg God to move in peoples hearts and prepare them to HEAR the Message.

friday prayer point…

Remember what is commemorated by Good Friday.  Many times we take for granted the SACRIFICE that was made US.  Today as we pray, lets make NO REQUESTS and just give THANKS for His AMAZING GRACE.

thursday prayer point…

Pray for the VISION of Lifesong church.  Pray for us to never loose our focus and desire to reach this generation with the life changing message of Christ.  May we ALWAYS have the desire to do whatever it takes to see it accomplished.

wednesday prayer point…

Pray for the Message.  Lets BEG God to move in the hearts of those who will be in the service Sunday.  Pray for lives to be changed and for ALL of us to take a step in our walk with Him.

tuesday prayer point…

Day three of the fast.  Stay focused and continue to BEG God to speak during this week.  Today’s prayer point…

• Pray for EVERY Lifesonger to have the chance (and the courage) to INVITE someone to the Song this Sunday.  Lets NOT miss this awesome opportunity to make an IMPACT for the Kingdom… we are doing all we can to make this service special and we are trusting God to do the SUPERNATURAL so lets do all we can to get people there!

Monday prayer point…

Day two of the fast.  I am praying for you… if you are fasting from food, the second and third days are the toughest.  Today’s prayers point:

• Pray for our sister churches in our community.  We are just a small part in the body of Christ and in order to see a true KINGDOM IMPACT it will take ALL of us.  Do a Google search for “Griffin Area Churches” and pray for them by name.  If you feel compelled, send them an email or a card and let them know that you are praying for them today.
